My View On Minors in Kink

This is a subject/question that is constantly floating around the community. I decided to explain it here. My views are simple. Minors do not belong in kink. It is such a simple concept, but because no one listens, MINORS DO NOT BELONG IN KINK. I know a lot of the arguments, but it doesn't stop the truth. Minors in kink is dangerous and illegal. Also, if you are too naive to understand this, or you are to stubborn, then you are too immature to be apart of this community anyways.

One of the biggest arguments you will hear is "I'm sure you were a minor in kink too!" However, there are many problems with this argument. The first one being that not all who are into bdsm discovered it as a minor, and if one did and participated then they most likely have some horror stories. I can admit that I was a minor in kink, but I still do not condone it. I was taken advantage of, as can happen to any underaged person in kink. It was heartbreaking. This is why I am against minors in kink. I have first hand experience of the bad that can happen. I don't want that to happen to anyone else. Also, noticed I said was, I am 18 now.

Another thing is that people say that we can't stop them from being a little, and that is true. However, we can protect ourselves and our community. We are an 18+ community with enough problems. The last thing we need is minors saying they are apart of it. A key part of the CGL community is that it is two consenting adults participating in the relationship. Key word, adult. Minors are not adults.

Also, just because you are at the age of consent, that doesn't mean you are old enough for BDSM. This is for many reasons. One main one is that if you meet someone in another state that has a different age of consent then problems may arise. Also just because you can consent doesn't make you an adult. You are still a minor. The entire world will agree to that.

Honestly, minors just need to stay out of a community they don't fully understand. If us explaining to you the many reasons why and you still ignore us, then you can't get mad at us for getting mad at you. So many people have explained it, and it's almost like youngsters ignore it. So, I will say it again, MINORS DO NOT BELONG IN KINK.

Also, if this post doesn't show it enough then I'll state it. This website is supposed to be for those 18 and older.
